New Show Announced

This is one for the short notice club: it has just been confirmed that The Nick Atoms will be performing next Wednesday, October 5 at O’Gara’s Garage in St. Paul. We are part of a three-band bill that also features Johnny Trash and The Rice Channel. Cover is a mere $4. Doors open at 8:30 with music starting at 9:00. The Nick Atoms will be closing out the night, so make sure you get a good night sleep the night before.

Now With Nuts

This one slipped through the cracks during all of the TV hubbub of the last two months. The Nick Atoms have recorded a new version of the “Mystery Science Theater 3000” theme for a fan-produced show called “Mystery Science Theater 3000: Second Wave”. The new version is far more rockin’ than our past effort and features new lyrics provided by Pedge Jameson, the show’s head writer, director and producer. Head on over to the “Mystery Science Theater 3000: Second Wave” web site to hear the new track!

Bastards Of Young

Strictly Original has come to an end. The Nick Atoms were not victorious. However, a deserving band in Terramara was the victor. We wish them well with the grand prize.

We had marvelous fun at the tapings. It was great to meet many of the bands and cheer them on. I have a feeling you haven’t seen the last of a few of them as far as The Nick Atoms are concerned.

Many thanks go out to our friends, family, and fans who supported us during this endeavor. Whether in person or through the magic of Internet voting, your well wishes and support were felt.
